Mark 1:21-28
In a twenty-first century approach to Jesus’ exorcism of the unclean spirit from a man in Capernaum, Reverend Steiger examines the difference between “healing” and “curing.” Physicians attempt to cure people of diseases; but only Jesus Christ can truly make a person whole. The road to healing may be long or it may be short; but it starts at the communion table, for it is at that table that we truly come into relationship with the living Christ; so let the healing begin.
