Weddings

Marriage is one of the most important commitments of your lives where you declare your lifelong love and devotion to each other. The Service of Marriage in the United Methodist Church is a sacred ceremony. It acknowledges God's presence and blessing upon your union. The ministers, staff and congregation are pleased and honored to be a part of this important event.

There are many details involved in planning a wedding, so we have a team of church staff to help you through the process. The administrative assistant coordinates the availability of facilities, dates and pastors. The minister who performs the ceremony meets with you for at least three pre-marital counseling sessions. The organist works with you in selecting music appropriate to a Christian service of worship. The wedding coordinator assists you in planning the details of your wedding ceremony.

There are three unique locations within the church where the vows are said before God, family and friends. The Sanctuary and the Great Hall are only available to members of our church. However, the smaller, quaint Myers Chapel, which seats about 75 people, is open to both members and non-members providing clergy are available on the date desired.

Your marriage ceremony at Church of the Saviour will be a memorable and joyous event. Our prayers are with you as you begin planning for one of the most important days of your lives.
