United Methodist Women
“The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as a whole person through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in global ministries of the church.”
All women members and friends of the church are welcome to attend. The United Methodist Women (UMW) is the largest women’s organization of a major Protestant denomination in the United States. Our local unit at Church of the Saviour is part of the North Coast District in the East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church. Monies to support our stated purposes are raised through pledges and two yearly flea markets.

Martha Circle – 7:30 p.m., fourth Tuesday, in the Parlor
If you are a woman who likes to get some handwork done (but not required) while listening to a program or being involved in a discussion, then this circle is for you. The circle meets in the parlor at 7:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month and includes women of a variety of ages, married and single. Contact Kevin Schaner at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Twice a year, the UMW has a flea market to raise money for mission projects. This is a sale not to be missed! Many volunteers are needed for set up, pricing, sales, clean-up, food prep, and a myriad of other tasks. Even if you can only give an hour or two, we would be grateful. The next Flea Market is scheduled for Oct 20-21, 2017. Contact Mary Freer at email@example.com if you can help or sign up to volunteer online by clicking here!
