Youth Sunday is April 27

Please join us on April 27 for Youth Sunday when the youth of our church honor God by leading every aspect of the morning worship services, from ushering to delivering the message. The 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. services will be led by the senior high youth and the 9:30 service will be lead by the junior high youth. The Scriptures they plan to use are 1 Peter 3:13-16, Psalm 40:1-11 (at 8:30 and 11:00), and Psalm 66:8-20 (at 9:30).

Open House is May 4

Our neighbors have watched the construction of our new 24,000 square foot building addition with great interest. Now Church of the Saviour invites the community to visit our newly-expanded facility during an Open House on Sunday, May 4 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Visitors are invited to bring the family to see our new children's education area, rooftop playground, interactive library and newly redecorated youth rooms. Learn about our programming for children and youth; enjoy refreshments, videos and music in the new Great Hall; and tour the entire church facility. During your visit, try out the hand chimes, register for door prizes and enjoy the GPS band. Activities for kids are planned, and each family will receive a connection bag of church-related items and program handouts to take home.

Habitat For Humanity House Sponsorship

Because of scheduling issues, the site for our Church of the Saviour sponsored Habitat for Humanity house has been changed. We will now be building at 2537 East 84th Street. If that address has a familiar ring to it, look at the return address of The Chimes - Church of the Saviour is at 2537 Lee Road! Thank you to everyone who has already made a contribution toward construction of the house. To add your support, please write "Habitat House" on the memo line of your check made out to Church of the Saviour and drop it off at the church office or in the offering plate on Sunday. If your employer has a matching gift program, you will probably need to send your check directly to Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity. To make sure your contribution goes to the Church of the Saviour house, write "Church of the Saviour Build" in the check memo line and send it to the attention of Georgianne Wanous, Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity, 6920 Union Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44105 with a note letting her know to expect a matching contribution from your employer.
