Moms' Circle Events This Summer
On Tuesday, July 13, pack your picnic basket for a play date and picnic lunch at Preston's Hope playground at the Mandel JCC (10 am - 12:30 pm). On Friday, July 23, enjoy a family movie on two giant screens in the Great Hall. We will have popcorn and lemonade. (7:00 - 8:30 pm). Wednesday, August 18, is Pool Day at Thornton Park Pool in Shaker Heights. Swim from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm. Bring a lunch if you like, and we can all eat together at the picnic shelter.
Reimagining Evangelism
This book provides "a new understanding of our role as Christ's ambassadors through friendship, community, narrative and invitation in helping people discover new life," says George G. Hunter of Asbury Theological Seminary. The group will meet in Room 161 and is open to all. Please contact Heidi Chew or Diane Gerlach if you are interested.
Summer Bible Study
We will learn more about the spread of the Gospel and the growth of the early Christian church. Please read Acts 1:1-2:47 for week 1 and be sure to bring your Bible. The group will meet on the church's front lawn (weather permitting). The study is open to all, all ages welcome. You do not need to register or purchase a text.
