DivorceCare and DC4K
Each meeting includes a video presentation by an expert covering
subjects such as finances and forgiveness. Participants also have a
workbook with a weekly Bible study. The video, workbook, and
personal experiences are discussed in a confidential and supportive
group.
The primary aim of DC4K is to foster communication between children
and their parents. Each session has video presentations, activities,
games, Bible stories and music offering children support and
encouragement.
Church of the Saviour will offer this series on Monday evenings,
6:30 – 8:30 p.m., beginning on September 12. There is a one-time fee
of $15 for the workbook. DivorceCare for Kids will meet at the same
time as the adult group. Childcare will be available for
preschoolers. All members of the community who are dealing with
these issues are invited to attend. For more information, please

Hildegard of Bingen and the Living Light
Way ahead of her time -- in a male-dominated world,
Hildegard challenged the established authority of the Church, both
philosophically and musically. Accompanying herself on authentic
medieval instruments including organistrum and medieval harp, Linn
Maxwell performs seven of Hildegard’s original songs. Actual letters
and writings transport us to the turbulent times of the Crusades in
Western Europe. Hildegard’s timeless message of faith, spiritual
truth, healing of body and soul, and caring for the earth is more
urgent today than ever.
